  • What are your thoughts on most tournaments going from Third Person to First Person?

Personally I really like both game modes. I feel like tournaments would be more fun to watch if they were First Person because most of the top streamers are only playing first person and that’s what everyone seems to enjoy. I hope in the future they will have tournaments that are both First Person and Third Person.

  • For someone that has never played PUBG or any Battle Royal type game, what are some tips you could give them to make them better?

The number one thing I’d suggest is watching streamers and asking questions. Knowing how the game works before you jump into a game helps immensely. Once you learn most of the basics from watching streams the next best thing to do is play. Over time you will learn and get better at aiming and knowing places to loot. At the end of the day you are just starting out so don’t expect to win every game but try to have fun so you will keep wanting to play and get better to ultimately get that chicken dinner!

  • What is your favorite cosmetic item?

My favorite cosmetic in PUBG is the beanie.

Sam "Samurai__" Huffman

My name is Sam Huffman I'm 19 and I'm from a little town outside of Toronto Ontario Canada. I got into PUBG after grinding Overwatch for a year and a half, i was not happy with the direction that Blizzard was taking Overwatch and the meta was rather stale so my now teammate Silky recommended that I go play PUBG. I grinded the game out for about a month or so before he agreed that I was good enough to play and we have been grinding out tournaments and leaderboards ever since.

  • What is your favorite cosmetic item?

My favorite cosmetic item would have to be my camo jacket that I wear often, it reminds me of some of the bomber jackets I wore growing up.

  • What are your thoughts on most tournaments going from Third Person to First Person?

I personally was a bigger fan of third person coming from games like Overwatch, Counter Strike, TF2, and Quake I had my fill of first person twitchy shooters and wanted a more tactical game where I could out-think someone and still beat them but that being said my experience in those games allows me to dominate in first person just as well.

  • For someone that has never played PUBG or any Battle Royal type game, what are some tips you could give them to make them better?

It really depends on the individual but if your goal is to simply improve there is nothing better than playing and recording your games. It is equally important in my opinion to grind the game as it is to break down your gameplay otherwise you won't know what mistakes you are making frequently and thus can’t improve as fast as someone who is self-analyzing. For the more casual player who isn't interested in competing, I would simply recommend you focus on where you are putting your crosshair and learn to use the lean feature.

  • What are your thoughts on most tournaments going from Third Person to First Person?

Personally, I preferred 3rd person but with recent changes, 1st person is constantly improving and becoming for viable. Not to mention it's more viewer friendly.

  • For someone that has never played PUBG or any Battle Royal type game, what are some tips you could give them to make them better?

Grind. Put the hours in and the rest will come. Personally having over 1500 hours so far I can tell you that the more you play, the more you understand, the better you are especially for an IGL such as myself.

  • What is your favorite cosmetic item?

My favorite cosmetic item would have to be the red bandana which I don't have sadly.
