Meet The Team Hammers Rocket League

Michael "Memory" Moss

Memory is a high school student who has been playing Rocket League since it was released. He won the Boostadelphia $1000 2v2 LAN, and also was the youngest player in history to make RLCS in his first year of eligibility. He went on to obtain the Savior of the Season accolade in that season as well by having the most saves per game in North America in Season 3.

  • Since everyone uses the Octane as their primary car, if the Octane was removed from the game, which car would you play instead and why?

I would switch to the Dominus, because I used that car for a long time and feel just as comfortable with it as I do the Octane.

  • What is the most satisfying thing to do in a game of Rocket League?

Hitting a clean redirect from a pass into the net is definitely the most satisfying thing to me.

  • What is your favorite cosmetic item in the game?

My favorite item is probably alpha boost, but the other alpha/beta rewards are close behind. I love limited items like those in games.

Lemonpuppy is very well liked among the Rocket League community, and was the most fan voted player to the invitational Brisk Summer Series.

  • Since everyone uses the Octane as their primary car, if the Octane was removed from the game, which car would you play instead and why?

It would definitely be a toss up between the batmobile and the dominus. I used to use flat cars quite a bit before I switched to the octane.

  • What is the most satisfying thing to do in a game of Rocket League?

For me, the most satisfying thing to do in a game of Rocket league is to be the one to score a zero second goal for the win.

  • What is your favorite cosmetic item in the game?

My favorite cosmetic item in the game is Alpha Boost. It feels like it actually makes you better.

  • Since everyone uses the Octane as their primary car, if the Octane was removed from the game, which car would you play instead and why?

I would go to the Dominus because it’s my second most used car and I really like playing on it.

  • What is the most satisfying thing to do in a game of Rocket League?

The most satisfying thing for me to do in Rocket League is to convert a passing play into a goal in a creative way.

  • What is your favorite cosmetic item in the game?

White Zombas; they look great and work with a lot of presets.

  • Since everyone uses the Octane as their primary car, if the Octane was removed from the game, which car would you play instead and why?

That is tough, as I have only ever used the Octane, but I would have to go with the Marauder as it is most Octane-like.

  • What is the most satisfying thing to do in a game of Rocket League?

Faking out a goalie by making them jump over me and then slowly pushing the ball in, or demolishing defenders right as a teammate shoots are the most satisfying things for me to do in Rocket League.

  • What is your favorite cosmetic item in the game?

Since most pro’s don’t use toppers, I have to say my favorite item is my White Flamethrower boost. It has a little blue color to it, and works with basically every car.
